Run the downloaded
kingpdf_setup_x64.exe. When Windows asks for administrator permission, click Yes.2
Leave “Run KingPDF” checked on the last screen and click Finish to start it right away. Nothing else needs to be installed.

To always open PDFs with KingPDF, choose it in Windows Settings › Apps › Default apps. KingPDF never changes your default apps by itself.
