Getting Started

Install Run kingtorrent_setup_x64.exe — installs to user folder, no admin required. Uninstall via Control Panel or uninst.exe.
Add Torrents Ctrl+O pick file · Ctrl+U URL/magnet · drag & drop · double-click .torrent files.
File Associations First launch auto-registers .torrent and magnet: protocol to KingTorrent. Registered in HKCU (no admin).
Single Instance Second launch forwards the torrent argument to the existing window (WM_COPYDATA).

Torrent Control

Start/Stop Right-click menu or toolbar — start/pause/stop. Multi-select (Ctrl/Shift+click) for batch ops.
Sequential DL Right-click → Sequential Download — downloads pieces in order from the start of the file (streaming-friendly).
Speed Limit Right-click → Speed Limit → set DL/UL KB/s. Per-torrent limits override global limits.
Remove Delete key or right-click → Remove · "Remove + delete files" recovers disk space.

Automation

RSS Auto-subscribe Settings → RSS → Add → paste feed URL → check "auto-download new items" → optional title regex filter. Polled every 30 minutes.
Watch Folder Settings → Advanced → "Watch folder auto-add" + specify path. Any .torrent dropped in is added automatically.
Bandwidth Scheduler Options menu → Bandwidth Scheduler → time range + days + speeds. Different limits apply during scheduled hours.

Power User

File Priority Right-click → File Priority → skip/low/normal/high/streaming. Streaming prioritizes first & last pieces of video files.
Labels Right-click → Set Label → type text. Auto-appears under TreeView "Labels". Click to filter by that label.
Tracker Edit Trackers tab right-click → add/remove/force reannounce/copy URL. Add public trackers to increase peer count.
IP Filter Settings → Advanced → "Enable IP filter" + ipfilter.dat path. Supports eMule/PeerGuardian format.
